Eyes On Photography Inc. was born in 1987, as a part time job to begin doing what we loved: photography, business and marketing. We started out as typical part time photographers. We did friends' weddings and portraits. We talked with other newly starting out photographers and helped them with an occasional wedding to see how they operated. And after every wedding we did, we would come home, analyze what happened, and make a change to improve the next time around.
Like all
studios, we became more passionate as we learned. We began attending seminars
of some of the biggest names in photography: Monte Zucker, Denis Reggie,
David Ziser, and Stephen Rudd, to name but a few. And as we learned from
each of these, we also began developing our own talent. Our biggest turning
point was when we met Gary Fong in 1994. He literally revolutionized the
way we did wedding photography. We became one of the first to photograph
exclusively in a photojournalistic approach, and present our clients with
a wide variety of album choices. We became one of the most successful
wedding photography studios, thanks in large part to www.EyesOnPhotography.com.
It changed who we are, and how we market.
Lori Osterberg, Album Designer
Lori
J. Osterberg is one of America's premier wedding photographers. She
has
photographed weddings throughout the country, and has won numerous awards
for her journalism and her marketing. Lori graduated in 1994 from the
University of Colorado at Denver with a Masters in Financial Management.
She
has worked her way through numerous positions, is President and CEO of
both
Eyes On Photography. She has written numerous articles on the subjects
of photography, marketing
and the Internet.
She has influenced thousands of people with her writings throughout popular
photography
magazines, and on many sites on the Internet. She is also a columnist
for
the Denver Business Journal. Currently, Lori is sharing her love of running
a successful business through consulting on marketing issues, writing
several books on marketing, and speaking.
Andrew Osterberg, CPP
Andrew
J. Osterberg is one of America's premier wedding photographers. He
has
photographed weddings throughout the country, and has won numerous awards
for his journalism and his marketing. Andrew is the co-founder of
Eyes
On Photography.
Andrew received his CPP designation
from Professional Photographers of
America in 1998, and has continued to excel in the area of photography
by teaming up with photographers throughout the country. Andrew is
now
creating a new passion, web site development and marketing, and has designed
sites for several local photographers, event companies and non-profit
organizations and
has produced numerous CD's and other technical projects for which he
has received
international
awards.
Together, Andrew and Lori make their home in Englewood CO with their daughter Fallon.
